Arte e cultura na escola: processos de emancipação do sujeito

Abstract

Este estudo se propõe a identificar no cotidiano educacional as manifestações culturais e artísticas, em duas escolas de Ensino Fundamental da rede pública de ensino da cidade de São Paulo. A partir de observações e memórias do período de estágio, buscou-se analisar a constituição do processo educativo, quanto às relações de cultura demonstradas pelos educandos e comunidade escolar. Por meio de uma gestão participativa e democrática, identificou-se uma considerada representação cultural e artística, a qual embasou as reflexões deste trabalho, juntamente com a fundamentação teórica, acerca de práticas educativas e culturais que promovam aprendizagens significativas.

This study aims to identify the cultural and artistic manifestations in two public elementary schools in the city of São Paulo. Based on observations and memories from the internship period, we tried to analyze the constitution of the educational process, as tothe culture relations demonstrated by the students and the school community. Through a participatory and democratic management, it was identified a significant cultural and artistic representation, which was the basis for the reflections of this work, along with the theoretical foundation about educational and cultural practices that promote significant learning.
