In the processes of development, quality assurance, innovation and marketing of the cosmetic industry, the acceptance of a product by the consumer is extremely important, being necessary to evaluate the characteristics of the product such as color, texture and odor through the sensorial perception of consumers. Using the interaction between consumer and product, through the cognitive process, cosmetics companies can have a better understanding of the experiences, expectations and acceptance of consumers for a given product, describing the benefits by the intrinsic and extrinsic characteristics perceived. The creation of a harmonious formulation has a direct impact on the consumption of the product. In cosmetic formulations, well-being is essential and the presence of a good emollient and a pleasant fragrance is essential for the sale of the product to be carried out, as they make the sensory more pleasant to touch and smell, senses often used in purchases of a cosmetic. This well-being can be assessed through sensorineural equipment and has been increasingly frequent. The advancement of technology and knowledge in the area of neuroscience has led to the creation and evolution of various equipment. The most used equipment for sensorineural analysis are: the Electroencephalogram (EEG), Galvanic Skin Response (GSR), Electrocardiogram (ECG), Facial Decoder (FACIAL COD) and EYE TRACKING. In view of this, the objective of this work was to carry out a bibliographic survey on the evaluation of cosmetic stimuli through the sensorineural method, using equipment such as EEG and GSR.
