Resumo
O presente trabalho tem como objetivo entender como se deu o processo de formação do Sport Club Germania (SCG), a sua importância como um dos atores no desenvolvimento das competições esportivas do início do século XX, bem como compreender o que um dos seus primeiros estatutos apontava para as possibilidades de sociabilidade dentro do clube. Além disso, buscou-se compreender o processo de nacionalização do clube, se existiram embates internos, e com quais elementos a polícia política estava preocupada. Este estudo discorre principalmente através da análise da documentação contida no prontuário do clube do Departamento de Ordem Política e Social (DEOPS-SP), bem como outros tipos documentais e a compreensão das políticas nacionalistas adotadas por Getúlio Vargas durante o Estado Novo.
The present work aims to understand how the process of formation of Sport Club Germania (SCG) took place, its importance as one of the actors in the development of sports competitions in the early 20th century, as well as to understand what one of the first statutes pointed to the possibilities of sociability within the club. In addition, an attempt was made to understand the club's nationalization process, if there were internal conflicts, and with which elements the political police were concerned. This study focuses mainly on the analysis of the documentation contained in the records of the club of the Political and Social Order Office (DEOPS-SP), as well as other types of documents and the understanding of the nationalist policies adopted by then president Getúlio Vargas during the New State period.
