Influência da liberalização financeira do final do século XX no mercado internacional de petróleo

Abstract

Esta monografia tem o objetivo de apresentar ao leitor as relações entre a hegemonia financeira norte-americana e a configuração do mercado internacional de petróleo no século XXI. No primeiro capítulo apresento ao leitor um apanhado histórico sobre os fatos políticos que envolveram a formação da configuração hegemônica norte-americana após a Segunda Guerra Mundial e as políticas de caráter neoliberal que consumaram a posição central do dólar na configuração internacional atual. No segundo capítulo, foram analisados os fatores que expressam a hegemonia capitalista e financeira norte-americana no mercado internacional de petróleo do século XXI, e como esta hegemonia afeta os países produtores de petróleo. O processo que levou ao conflito iraquiano nos demonstrou empiricamente a violência da hegemonia do dólar. A conclusão deste trabalho conscientiza o leitor sobre a importância do debate acerca de interferências políticas no mercado internacional de petróleo.

This work has the main objective to present the reader about the relations between United States financial hegemony and the configuration of the international oil Market. On the fisrt chapter, i present to the reader a historical overview about the political facts that evolved the formation of the north american hegemony after the Second World War, and the neoliberal politics that shaped the central position of the dollar in the world economy. On the second chapter, i analized the factors that express the american hegemony in world oil Market on 21st century and how this hegemony may affect oil producing countries. The conflict that took place in Iraq demonstrates empiricaly the violent hegemony of the dólar. The conclusion os this work must aware the reader about the importance of the debate on political interferences in international oil Market.
