O patrimônio cultural nos livros didáticos de História: Coleção História, sociedade & cidadania

Abstract

A presente pesquisa busca analisar a inserção do patrimônio cultural nos livros didáticos de História, tendo como fonte a coleção História Sociedade & Cidadania, da Editora FTD, destinada ao Ensino Fundamental II e distribuída pelo PNLD de 2014. Analisou-se como se deu a incidência do patrimônio cultural nesta coleção, de modo a investigar sua distribuição na estrutura de cada livro, quais bens estão representados, se de natureza material ou imaterial, de quais regiões e a partir de quais abordagens, se como ilustração, conteúdo central ou "curiosidade". Pretende-se chegar ao entendimento de quais critérios orientam a seleção e o uso desses bens culturais no ensino de História, se como referências culturais de um grupo, de identidade nacional ou se como obras de excepcional valor estético, por exemplo. Este estudo compreende o patrimônio cultural tendo como pressuposto sua potencialidade para desenvolver a capacidade de articular os diferentes tempos históricos, complexificar a percepção das estruturas temporais e a relação entre passado, presente e futuro.

This research seeks to analyze the insertion of cultural heritage in the textbooks of History, with the FTD Publisher’s “História, Sociedade & Cidadania” collection, destined to Elementary School and distributed by the PNLD 2014. It was analyzed how the incidence of cultural heritage was given in this collection, in order to investigate its distribution in the structure of each book, which assets are represented, whether of material or intangible nature, from which regions and from which approaches, if as illustration, central content or curiosity. It is intended to reach the understanding of which criteria guide the selection and use of these cultural goods in History teaching, whether as cultural references of a group, of national identity or whether as works of exceptional aesthetic value, for example. This study comprises the cultural heritage based on its potentiality to develop the capacity to articulate the different historical times, complexifying the perception of temporal structures and the relationship between past, present and future.
