Teoria das operações predicativas e enunciativas: uma concepção de linguagem entre o construtivismo e a teoria do conhecimento

Abstract

This research intents to understand the possible theoretical and philosophical influences that may have contributed to the development of the Theory of Predictive and Enunciative Operations - TOPE (CULIOLI, 2000, 1999a, 1999b; CULIOLI, NORMAND, 2005; DE VOGÜÉ, FRANCKEL, PAILLARD, 2011) by Antoine Culioli. TOPE, which in this work serves both as theoretical reference and research object, has long been a profuse source of research in the field of enunciation, especially in Europe, and in the last three decades Brazilian researchers have been adding important contributions to theory with realization of studies that not only clarify aspects still complex of the theory, how they contribute to the problematization of the teaching of the lexicon and the grammar in Portuguese language in our country. Our research problem consists precisely in identifying, as far as possible, the philosophical and / or epistemological currents in which Culioli may have sought inspiration, because its referential presents, for many concepts, close relations with Leibniz's globalizing knowledge, Kantian criticism, Hegel's idealism, Knowledge Theory, Constructivism and Phenomenology. In order to better understand the way in which these currents contributed to the understanding of language and enunciation from TOPE's point of view, we propose a conceptual examination of the subject, a very valuable element to the philosophical currents mentioned, when analyzing which subject preponderates in the culiolian perspective, but also an analytical examination, when we endeavor to observe and describe the way this subject operates in the face of verbs base and prefixed verbs With this analytical effort, we search for reinforce one of the pillars of Culiolian thought about meaning in language: signification is the product of the relations established within the enunciation, and such relationships are performed in a specific way. The result of the research also evidences the pedagogical potential of this referential for language teaching, and this is a theory that values the critical analysis of canonical concepts and comprises the knowledge of language as a process of construction that necessarily passes through conscious reflection about its phenomenon.

Este estudo busca compreender as possíveis influências teóricas e filosóficas que possam ter contribuído para a elaboração da Teoria das Operações Predicativas e Enunciativas – TOPE (CULIOLI, 2000, 1999a, 1999b; CULIOLI, NORMAND, 2005; DE VOGÜÉ, FRANCKEL, PAILLARD, 2011) por Antoine Culioli. A TOPE, que neste trabalho se constitui tanto referencial teórico quanto objeto de investigação, há muito tem sido fonte profusa de pesquisas no campo da enunciação, especialmente na Europa, sendo que, nas três últimas décadas, pesquisadores brasileiros vêm agregando importantes elos a essa corrente com a realização de estudos que não apenas clareiam aspectos ainda complexos da teoria, como contribuem para a problematização do ensino do léxico e da gramática em língua portuguesa em nosso país. Nosso problema de pesquisa consiste, justamente, em identificar, na medida do possível, as correntes filosóficas e/ou epistemológicas nas quais Culioli possa ter buscado inspiração, posto que seu referencial apresenta, para um leque de conceitos, estreitas relações com o saber globalizador de Leibniz, a crítica kantiana, o idealismo de Hegel, a Teoria do Conhecimento, o Construtivismo e a Fenomenologia. Para melhor compreender o modo como essas correntes contribuíram para a compreensão do que é a linguagem e a enunciação do ponto de vista da TOPE, propomos um exame conceitual do sujeito – elemento bastante caro às correntes filosóficas citadas – ao analisarmos qual sujeito prepondera na perspectiva culioliana, mas igualmente um exame analítico, ao empenharmo-nos em observar e descrever o modo como este sujeito se comporta diante de verbos base e verbos prefixados. Com este empenho analítico, buscamos reforçar um dos pilares do pensamento culioliano acerca do sentido na língua: a significação é produto das relações estabelecidas no seio do enunciado, e tais relações jamais são quaisquer, ou realizadas à revelia. O resultado do estudo evidencia, ainda, o potencial pedagógico deste referencial para o ensino de línguas, e isso por se tratar de uma teoria que preza pela análise crítica de conceitos canônicos e concebe o conhecimento da língua como um processo de construção que passa necessariamente pela reflexão consciente acerca de seus fenômenos.
