Efeitos do treinamento resistido em transplantados cardíacos: uma revisão sistemática da literatura

Abstract

O estudo teve por objetivo analisar como a literatura científica tem se pronunciado sobre o treinamento resistido em pessoas submetidas ao transplante cardíaco. A pesquisa foi realizada por meio de buscas nas bases de dados online MEDLINE (Medical Literature, Analysis and Retrieval System Online) e SCIELO (Scientific Eletronic Library Online). Os termos utilizados na busca foram: heart transplantation AND resistance training; e seus equivalentes em português: transplante cardíaco AND treinamento resistido, encontrados a partir dos Descritores em Ciências da Saúde (DeCS) e Medical Subject Headings (MeSH). Conclui-se que, um programa de treinamento resistido realizado por dois meses após o transplante cardíaco demonstra ser seguro e eficaz, já que foi capaz de melhorar a densidade mineral óssea, força e a composição corporal dos indivíduos transplantados.

The study aimed to analyze how the scientific literature has ruled on resistance training in people undergoing heart transplantation. The survey was conducted through searches of online MEDLINE databases (Medical Literature, Analysis and Retrieval System Online) and SCIELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online). The terms used in the search were: heart transplantation AND resistance training; and their equivalents in Portuguese: transplante cardíaco AND treinamento resistido, found from the Descriptors in Health Sciences (DeCS) and Medical Subject Headings (MeSH). We conclude that a resistance training program carried out for two months after heart transplantation proves to be safe and effective, as it was able to improve bone mineral density, strength and body composition of transplanted individuals
