Quality of Life at Work should be understood as a way of stimulating habits and lifestyles that promote health, well-being and enthusiasm in working in a certain place, generating an increase in satisfaction and professional production, with a reduction of costs for the company. The need to reorganize the health work process must be accompanied by institutional changes in management, which must be modernized in the management of health work as a process aimed at avoiding dehumanization and risks in care. The choice of the theme is justified by the importance currently given to the subject, especially in private and multinational companies, where conditions and quality of life are increasingly valued in the work environment, creating conditions for these workers to have their levels reduce stress and work in relaxed, healthy and stimulating environments. In the public network initiatives are still very incipient in this sense, which, in itself, already justifies the interest for a research project on this subject. It is believed that the Permanent Education in Health produces a significant improvement in the Quality of Life at Work of health workers who work in the SUS, and that it may occur in basic health units and / or health units of the family, generating moments of reflection of their practices and thus provoking a new doing. In this sense, the objective of this research was to analyze the possible relationship between the Permanent Education in Health and the improvement of the Quality of Life at Work from the perspective of the health professionals of Primary Care. Method: Qualitative research carried out in a Family Health Unit of the Northwest Zone, in Santos. Semi-structured interviews were carried out with the participation of 12 (twelve) full-time employees at this unit, with criteria for choosing and accepting participation through a free and informed consent term. Results: The results were organized into three categories of analysis: Permanent Education in Health and Continuing Education; Permanent Education in Health: a Tool for Quality of Life at Work; Quality of life at work. It is noticed that the absence of Permanent Education in Health influences the motivation and commitment of health professionals, in the emergence of conflicts of interest in the work environment, both within the professional team itself and with users and also with the lack of quality in the service provided. Final considerations: It was evidenced by the statements of the interviewees, who in almost all of them, expressed that there is a direct correlation between PEH and QLW. On the other hand, it was very evident also that for the great majority of the interviewees there is not a clear difference between Continuing Education and Permanent Education.
