Rousseau: Da Propriedade Privada À Alienação

Abstract

This research aims to detect the possible joints that can be establish between the concept of private property and the degeneration of the human essence in the work of Jean-Jacques Rousseau. As a conductor of the discussions, it’s taken the concept of private property as is exposed in Discours sur l’inégalité. The analysis will try to demonstrate the possible relationships between the notion of “alienation” and private property; furthermore, it will demonstrate that the lands appropriation held through work is in the genesis of the man’s removal from his natural essence. To elucidate the relationships proposed by the author between man alienation and moral corruption, it is intended not only to understand the moral and political aspects of Rousseau’s thought, but also the problems related to the advent of private property.

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo detectar as possíveis articulações que se pode estabelecer entre o conceito de propriedade privada e a concepção de degeneração da essência humana, na obra de Jean-Jacques Rousseau. O fio condutor das discussões é a noção de propriedade tal como é exposta no Discurso sobre a origem e os fundamentos da desigualdade entre os homens. A análise procurará demonstrar as relações entre a noção de “alienação” e a propriedade privada e comprovar que a apropriação das terras realizada através do trabalho está na gênese do afastamento do homem de sua essência natural. Ao elucidar as relações propostas pelo autor entre a alienação do homem e a corrupção moral, aspira-se não apenas compreender os aspectos morais e políticos do pensamento rousseauniano, mas também os problemas concernentes ao advento da propriedade privada.
