It is configured from a professional master's program, which has its nature defined by the meticulous study of this area: the "ProfHistória". The whole intent of the research is based on an uneasiness shared by the teacher-researcher who writes this work, together with his students, in relation to the themes of racism and the history of the struggle traditions of the black movement in Africa and in the diaspora. The research advanced towards the examination of the construction of a school curriculum in History, which recognizes and values the History of Contemporary Africa. Our work, therefore, unfolds in order to provide a rigorous analysis on the insertion of the themes cited from materials produced for the care of teachers and students of History in basic education, specifically the Synthesis of the collection General History of Africa. In this way, we will place the chosen sources before the different traditions of thought on the pan-Africanism and the decolonization of the African nations, so that we can verify the possibilities of mobilization of the subjects in question, in the teaching of History.
