The Community Health Worker (CHW)?s work, located between the health service and its community, is marked by a strong relational dimension. This worker, responsible for the mediation of these healthcare subjects? actions, builds his role based on previous knowledge and information received in his daily contact with colleagues and the population. His performance is built upon the combination of this knowledge with his own affective references, which will guide the manifestation of his thoughts and actions on the territories he passes through. Thus, we reflect upon the dimension of affectivity as a dialectical psychical category (LANE, 2006) and also Baruch Spinoza?s (2013) theory of the affects, according to commentaries and interpretations by Deleuze (2002) and Sawaia (2001a; 2001b), so we can comprehend its role in the building of this worker?s practices and its political implications, particularly in the context of a highly vulnerable territory. We understand as such, based on the concept of vulnerability discussed by Ayres, Paiva and Buchalla (2012), a territory whose material and socio-historical conditions are felt by its inhabitants as fragilizing, through the experience of inequities and situations that lead to ethical-political suffering (SAWAIA, 2001b). This research, based on those references, had as its objective to comprehend the role of affectivity in the politization of the work process and elaboration of politically transforming practices in the CHW?s actions within the Family Health Strategy (FHS) in highly vulnerable territories. This study was based on etnography applied to psychology (SATO; SOUZA, 2001), consisting on accompanying the routine of the healthcare service and the CHW during four months, using the technique of participant observation (MINAYO, 2010). Collected data was registered on field diaries (GEERTZ, 2013) and analyzed according to the Depth Hermeneutics (THOMPSON, 1995; DEMO, 2001) theory. The healthcare unit in which the study was conducted was in a moment of transition in its attention model, from the Community Health Worker Program (CHWP) to the FHS. Results point to the relevance of the CHW?s affective bond to his territory for sharing experiences with colleagues and the population; the supportive role played by the work team in understanding situations of vulnerability; the importance of building open relationships while respecting alterity in daily relations; and the impact of macropolitical aspects on the attention model?s transition. The CHW?s own affectivity, as it sensitizes him to the difficulties and inequalities of the territory, works in a political dimension as it fights against the naturalization and continuity of these situations. At the same time, this affectivity puts into action other care resources that lead to improvements. This delicate place which the CHW occupies speaks of the development of a subjectivity within a particular cultural context that, precisely due to this placement, can find its own solutions to local problems, even if restricted by macropolitical aspects. It?s the creation of a contextualized political action, brought up by the affective experience and questioning of one?s own reality.
- ItemSomente MetadadadosA afetividade, o sofrimento ético-político e o cuidado à saúde mental em território de alta vulnerabilidade social(Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), 2014-02-21) Rosa, Karina Rodrigues Matavelli [UNIFESP]; Castro-Silva, Carlos Roberto de [UNIFESP]; Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP)The methodology of Matrix Support presents itself as an important device in the management of health work, thus reference teams and matrix support are essential to the implementation of Extended Practice, which aims to establish a radical commitment to the people with illness and their singularities. Specifically in the field of mental health, this methodology helps to strengthen the mental health services in primary care, and contributes to the realization of some important principles of the Brazilian Public Health System (SUS) and the Psychiatric Reform itself. In this context it is introduced the theme of this research, which sought to investigate and understand, in the domain of lightweight technologies , the quality of the emotional bonds that permeate and underlie the meetings of various people involved in the composition of the micropolitical field of the mental health care in a region of high social vulnerability . We start from a worldview based on the Socio-Historical Psychology, which implies, among other things, conceiving subjectivity from the materiality of social relations. The instruments used for the construction of the qualitative information were participant observation, the field diaries and semistructured interviews with the professionals of the teams . The field diaries were the main guides of the entire analytical process. For the analysis and interpretation of the information we used Thompson´s Depth Hermeneutics (1995), Qualitative Epistemology by González Rey (2011;2012) , and the dialectic of inclusion -exclusion by Sawaia (2010 ) . The information was organized from the three levels of analysis proposed by Depth Hermeneutics, being: the Socio-Historical Analysis, the Formal Analysis and Interpretation / Reinterpretation. We used affection as a category of analysis, in order to understand the specific dynamics that operate in the meeting of the people involved in the care practice, and thus revealing the tone of the dimension of care practiced by these teams, with regard to stigma, prejudice and power relations, among others. Thus we come to the final three perspectives of interpretation / reinterpretation: firstly we discussed the impact of internalization of market values in the health field ,in the second perspective we discussed the psychological distress from the ethical-political sufferings, being both perceived as pain mediated by social injustices, and finally the third perspective that treats affectivity as a power of action , in that it puts individuals as subjects in the process of social emancipation . Therefore respect, trust, complicity and solidarity stood out as structuring affects of the dimension of care in health, because they are responsible for achieving the "good meetings ", boosters of the acting force of the subjects. Accordingly, we conclude that centralizing affectivity in building production practices in health care, especially in mental health, is above all being able to acknowledge the pain and suffering of the other and investing in the process of politicization of these subjects, enhancing the ability of each of them as a transforming agent of themselves and their reality, from the knowledge of the mechanisms that oppress them, dehumanize them and get them sick.
- ItemAcesso aberto (Open Access)Participação social e subjetividade: as vivências de jovens moradores da Vila dos Pescadores em Cubatão/SP(Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), 2015-03-20) Anhas, Danilo de Miranda [UNIFESP]; Castro-Silva, Carlos Roberto de [UNIFESP]; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0357820757162104; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7441678237254743; Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP)Social participation is one of the principles which forms Brazilian Public Health System (SUS) and one of the basis for the consolidation of democracy as well as for the transformation of social reality. Having as theoretical reference on Social Psychology, this research, descriptive and exploratory, purposed to analyze the influence of psychosocia l factors on the construction and fortification of processes of social participation amongst young people from Vila dos Pescadores in Cubatão/SP. Semi-structured interviews and participant observation were performed at a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) which attends young people and at a Capoeira Group, besides visits to the neighborhood that had field diaries as products. The information constructed, analyzed according to Thompson?s Depth Hermeneutics (THOMPSON, 2011), allow to understand how the participants of the study feel the co mmunity and how it can help think social participation, in which local forces, as drug traffic and violence, can be considered as deterrent of the participation, but, at the same time, as expressions of participation. Moreover, we underline the participation at NGO and Capoeira Group as possibilities constructed by the participants of the study as coping strategies against exclusion and social inequality. The perception of the participants of the study about health indicates, in a certain way, a larger view, related to subjective factors, but also to issues from the contexto they live. The gap between Family Health Strategy and community is felt and perceived by the participants, what challenges this instution to comprehend the neighborhood necessaries, especially young people necessaries. We emphasize that the implication on the study brought to the participants the possibility to express subjective and singular issues, (re)creating and (re)build meanings during all the process.
- ItemSomente MetadadadosSaúde mental e economia solidária: os processos psicossociais de inclusão social pelo trabalho(Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), 2014-03-26) Moraes, Ramiz Candeloro Pedroso de [UNIFESP]; Castro-Silva, Carlos Roberto de [UNIFESP]; Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP)This research aimed to study the psychosocial aspects related to social inclusion through the labor of people with mental disorders by targeting the construction processes of autonomy and citizenship in a cooperative recycling clean waste at the city of Santos. The Mental Health and Solidarity Economy in Brazil dialogue, both in politics and in everyday practices of social inclusion labor, nearly ten years being a recent history, therefore is a suitable topic for scientific research. The method we use is driven worldview of Socio-Historical Psychology, being a epistemology qualitative research. We conducted a case study with ethnographic inspiration, participant observation and in depth interviews. We opted for the methodology of analysis of Thompson ’s Depth Hermeneutics proposes a discussion of the results in three levels: a sociohistorical analysis, discursive analysis which complement with the nuclei of meaning and interpretation / reinterpretation. The research site was the Project Garbage Clean of the Cooperative Paratodos that brings users of mental health in the separation of recycled material. The socio -historical analysis allowed themes as we rose from specific geographical areas and access, complex institutional and power relationships, referrals and relationships between users of mental health and social care and daily workers. In discursive analysis deepened issues experienced by individuals within and outside the cooperative. The stories of life suffered by social inequality, the family fights and live in the dialectic exclusion / inclusion, are being gradually overcome, both built by sociability, as the sense that the cooperative has for these people. In the interpretation/reinterpretation we bring prospects and challenges that we analyzed Project Garbage Clean: the first are contradictory because on one side we find life production, exchange affections, built sociability and income generation and the other, institutional and power relations rigid generating pseudo democratic spaces. The challenges are to assume the Solidarity Economy as a reference labor; encourage social participation of its members and become a model for the country, given its importance. Finally, we note that the solidarity labor can promote social change in a society marked by dialectic exclusion / inclusion. In this way, we propose a concept-process, the potencialização psicossocial that allows reflection on a new look for the person with mental disorder, a look at ethical-political suffering, by its power and by the possibility it has to reach the public happiness middle of the Solidarity Economy.
