    O museu Afro Brasil e a noção de África presente em seu discurso expositivo

    This work intends, as its main aim, to understand the África conception and its relation with the memory about the continent found in the Afro Brasil Museum exhibition’s discourse, founded in 2004, and the possible relation between the museum and the historiography about Africa. It will address the relations between the museum foundation and the contemporary practice of particular memories musealization and its heritage. The museum’s exhibition discourse will be the main object of study; throught its exposed material culture, we intend to decipher the memory preservation current needs which the institution deals with. For this, it will be analyzed the work done by some researchers such as Koselleck, Hartog, Halbwachs, Ulpiano Bezerra de Meneses, Marta Anico, Ana Cláudia, Brefe and others.
