Among The Toxins, P-Cresyl Sulfate (Pcs), Indoxyl Sulfate (Is), And Indole-3-Acetic Acid (Iaa) Have Been Associated With Cardiovascular Risk, Progression Of The Disease, And Mortality In Patients With Ckd. Prebiotics Have Emerged As An Alternative Approach To Modulate The Gut Environment To Attenuate The Production Of Toxins. Aims: 1) To Evaluate The Effect Of A Prebiotic (Fructooligosaccharide, Fos) On Uremic Toxins (Pcs, Is And Iaa) Of Non-Diabetic Non-Dialysis-Dependent Ckd (Ndd-Ckd) Patients. 2) To Evaluate The Effect Of Such Intervention On Serum Markers Of Intestinal Permeability (Zonulin), Gut-Trophic Factors [(Epidermal Growth Factor (Egf) And Glucagon-Like Peptide-2 (Glp-2)], Inflammation [C-Reactive Protein And Interleukin-6 (Il-6)], Insulin Resistance, Lipid Profile, Renal Function And Gastrointestinal Symptoms. 3) To Evaluate The Associatio
