Abstract Lymphocyte cultures from five patients with Werner's syndrome (WS) and five healthy controls revealed significantly slower proliferation kinetics in four out of five patients. Higher frequencies of chromosome aberration and aneuploidy were also present with evidence of variegated translocation mosaicism in one of the patients. the study revealed no differences in sister chromatid exchange frequencies.
